MERN Stack Developer in Islamabad
Many Islamabad products run on a JavaScript stack end to end. My version of it is MongoDB with Prisma, Node.js and Express for the API, and React Native with TypeScript for the client, which means one language and shared types from the database to the screen.
To be clear about scope: my strength is the mobile client and the API behind it. For heavy web front ends I usually collaborate with a web team on the same backend.
Backend patterns I reuse
Permission-based RBAC with role checks on the server, JWT authentication, rate limiting, and Prisma models that keep queries predictable. On MongoDB I use custom aggregations and indexing to minimise round-trips, which is what keeps the drill-down analytics in my school app responsive.
Shared backend, several clients
On the school platform I wrote mobile-optimized endpoints on a backend shared with the web team, so both clients relied on one source of truth. That approach also suits Islamabad agencies where the web and mobile teams differ.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a MERN stack or something different?
It follows the MERN idea (MongoDB, Express, Node.js) with React Native as the client and Prisma as the data layer, in TypeScript.
Can you work inside our existing Node.js codebase?
Yes. I start with a review of structure and conventions, then add endpoints and features in your style.
Do you build the React web front end?
My portfolio is mobile-first. For a full web front end I would collaborate with your web developers on the shared API.
