Gold Biz Pro: Bilingual B2B Gold Trading App (React Native)

Gold Biz Pro is a bilingual (English/Urdu), multi-tenant React Native app for B2B gold trading. It is in live use by a gold market association, and I was the sole mobile developer behind it — from the Urdu RTL interface to the mobile-optimized Node.js APIs.

The problem

In gold markets, ex-employees sometimes keep trading stolen gold under their former employer's name. Buyers have no fast way to check whether the person in front of them still works for that business, so trust depends on reputation alone.

The solution

Every business issues QR-based employee cards. Before a deal, the buyer scans the card and instantly sees whether the person is an active employee of that business. Revoked cards fail verification immediately, which closes the gap that ex-employees were exploiting.

    Create, verify, and complete deals, or raise a dispute, with a clear status trail for both sides.

  • Dynamic permission-based RBAC

    Five roles (Association Admin, Owner, Partner, Card Verifier, Employee) with features shown or hidden in real time as permissions change.

  • Admin flows

    Business approvals, card revocation, and un-revoke requests handled inside the app.

  • Full RTL, dual-script typography

    Complete right-to-left layout with Nastaleeq for Urdu and a Latin typeface for English, switching cleanly per language.

  • Push notifications with deep links

    FCM notifications that open the exact screen a user needs, such as a deal awaiting verification.

  • Secure authentication

    JWT auth with tokens stored in the device keychain rather than plain storage.

My role

Sole mobile developer: app architecture, RTL/bilingual UI, permission system, notifications, and the mobile-facing API endpoints.
