A React Native school management app for a multi-branch school network: 5,000+ students and their parents, 2 regions, 25 buildings, and 8 roles. I was the sole mobile developer and built the mobile-optimized APIs on a shared backend with the web team.

The problem

A network this size cannot run on a flat 'school' model. Attendance, fees and results have to roll up through regions, branches, wings and buildings, and every role, from a subject coordinator to a parent with several children, needs a different slice of the same data.

The solution

The app models the real hierarchy (Region → Branch → Wing (Boys/Girls) → Building → Class → Section) and scales to larger networks without a redesign. Role-aware navigation gives each of the 8 roles only what they need, and drill-down analytics let leadership move from network totals down to a single section.

Daily and subject-wise attendance
Teachers mark attendance per day and per subject; parents see calendar tallies for present, absent, late and holiday.
Quiz approval by coordinators
Online quizzes are approved by coordinators before students can see them.
Drill-down fee and attendance analytics
Network → wing → building → class → section, so leadership can locate a problem at the right level.
Targeted push broadcasts
Send announcements to a specific branch or building instead of the whole network.
One-tap call and email to parents
Teachers and coordinators reach a parent straight from the student record.
Results, datesheets and timetables
Term-wise results with subject breakdowns, live datesheet status and weekly timetables.
